Yuan Xitun, a male, a professor for the undergraduate, Senior engineer, also a teacher working in China Coal Aerial Survey and Remote Sensing Bureau before 2014. He has been engaged in production, scientific research, management and other work. He used to be the leader, vice president and president of Surveying and Mapping team of Surveying and Mapping Engineering Academy. He has presided over or as the main technical leader organized and implemented more than 30 major aerial survey projects with great influence in the field of surveying and mapping in China, such as aerial survey projects in Brazil, aerial survey projects in Hong Kong, "Second survey of National Land", and many of the projects have won the gold, silver and Bronze awards for excellent surveying and mapping projects of the Institute of Surveying and Mapping. Since 2014, he has been engaged in teaching practice, mainly studying the technology and management of engineering projects and engineering application. He is the principal of the Geospatial Information Engineering Institute of the university.
