Chen Qiuji, a male, PhD, professor, the Head of Geography Master Program, Xi 'an University of Science and Technology, Member of Land Reclamation and Ecological Restoration Committee of China Coal Society, Member of Mine Surveying Committee, Chinese Society of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation, Member of Shaanxi Mine Geological Environment Protection and land Reclamation Expert Bank, Member of Shaanxi Province Geological disaster Prevention Expert Bank. In recent years, he has participated in and presided over two National Natural Science Foundation projects, one public welfare project of the Ministry of Land and Resources, five provincial scientific research projects, and more than 20 social service scientific research projects. He has published more than 50 papers and 3 monographs. It has won 8 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards.

Field of Investigation:
Mainly devoted to the teaching and research work of monitoring and management of ecological environment change in mining area. By using modern surveying and mapping geographic information technology, the ecological environment related information can be quickly obtained. Combined with mining subsidence and ecology theories, the related problems of land reclamation and ecological restoration in mining area are studied.
