International students will take three years to complete the first three undergraduate credits in Xi 'an University of Science and Technology; In the fourth year,theywill goto the University of Arizona to complete the credits of the fourth year, complete the graduation design, degree awarding and graduation requirements under the joint guidance of Chinese and foreign teachers, andobtain the Bachelor of Science degree and graduation certificate of geographic Information Science awarded by Xi 'an University of Science and Technology.Finally the International students will receive aMaster of Engineering degree and diploma in GIS Technology from the University of Arizona after completing the Master's program and the requirements for degree conferment and graduation in the fifth year.
The international class aims to combine geographic science, cutting-edge technology and geographic system, and geospatial technology and management skills, to cultivate innovative and international talents with international vision and geospatial professional background for governments, enterprises and other non-profit organizations and academic institutions.

2. International class selection rules
The selection of international class students adheres to the principle of "voluntary application, fair competition, open selection and selective admission". The Academic Affairs Office is responsible for the overall organization and coordination, the Student Affairs Office and the Finance Office cooperate with the relevant work, and the School of Surveying and Mapping is responsible for the student primary selection and interview selection.
At the end of the first school year, freshmen will have 30 students (one class) selected by the university, and transferred to geographic Information Science (International) class.
The specific process is as follows: (1) student registration: students who meet the registration requirements will log in to the students' personal educational affairs system to apply for major transfer.(2) Qualification examination and interview: The School of Surveying and Mapping conducts the qualification examination of the applicants and organizes an interview. The interview mainly examines the students' comprehensive quality and knowledge application ability.(3) Admission method: The admission list will be determined according to the results of the first academic year and the interview results.(4) Publicity and major transfer procedures: the list of students to be admitted will be approved by the Academic Affairs Office and the supervisor, and the final list of students will be publicized and determined, and the relevant procedures will be handled.
If the number of applicants for an international class is less than 30 (between 20 and 30), the registered students will be examined and examined to implement the training process for building a class for the students. If the number of applicants is less than 20, the general class will be taught together with the ordinary class. More courses and training courses in the training plan than those of the ordinary class will be taught separately.
Iii. Rules for international class training
Time: First three years Place: Xi'an University of Science and Technology
First year (freshman year): Students who study in the major admitted to the college entrance examination will be implemented according to the major training plan.Second and third years (sophomore and junior year): After passing the selection, transfer to geographic Information Science major (join the international class), implement the international class training program (see Annex 1 for details), and implement the English reinforcement and promotion plan (see Annex 3 for details). In the second semester of my junior year, I will meet the provisions of the Student handbook of Xi'an University of Science and Technology, pass the CEPT test of Arizona (see Annex 3 for details), and sign the international class training agreement. I will go to the University of Arizona in the fourth year. If not, the international class of Geographic Information Science will be disqualified and transferred to the general class of Geographic Information Science.
Time: Next two years Place: University of Arizona
Fourth year: students senior need to study credit to the university of Arizona, in the form of Chinese and foreign credits mutual recognition (see attachment 4), undergraduate courses, at the same time the university of Arizona geographic information system technology master's pilot courses, and under the guidance of Chinese and foreign teachers and degree graduation design, graduation requirements (refer to xi' an university of science and technology handbook, attachment 1 regulations), xi'an university of science and technology awarded bachelor of geographic information science degree and graduation certificate.
Year 5: Completed the master's degree program and degree awarding and graduation requirements at the University of Arizona (see Annex 5 for details), and obtained the master's degree of Engineering and graduation certificate of GIS Technology awarded by the University of Arizona.
